To briefly familiarize you with my qualifications and training, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts and Sciences from Queens College of the City University of New York (1972) and my Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Georgia State University (1990). I am licensed by the state of Georgia-(LPC #2057) and I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) issued by the National Board of Certified Counselors.  I have a Master Addictions Counselor (MAC) certification based on extensive training and experience in the area of addiction counseling. I am listed on the LPCA State Registry for Clinical Supervisors (CPCS) and I provide supervision for therapists who are working towards state licensure. I have many years of broad-based counseling and supervisory experience in the Cherokee County Mental Health system and in private practice. I am also an Adjunct Instructor at Argosy University in Atlanta, Ga. I have been in private practice since 2000.
